The Town of New Marlborough, Massachusetts is very pleased to host the Dedication of the New Marlborough American Revolutionary War Memorial.
The Memorial has been created as a gift of the New Marlborough Harold D. Rood American Legion Post 350 in cooperation with Pomeroy Chapter Massachusetts Society of the American Revolution. The main face of the Memorial has a plaque bearing the names of 221 Revolutionary War Veterans. This list appears here. The second plaque, to the left of the front, comes from the Sons of the American Revolution (SAR) and is dedicated to Sgt. Moses Adams. The SAR chose to honor Sgt. Moses Adams as a representative Soldier of the American Revolution who made the ultimate sacrifice in the service of his country. One of its national Youth Programs is named for Sgt. Adams. See this here.
